Pae Murray

I’m Patience, also known as Pae Murray — a singer-songwriter, speaker, author, creative producer, and founder who believes it’s never too late or too soon to believe in impossible dreams.

My life has been shaped by deep wounds and unexpected miracles. When I was just two years old, my mother left. And in 2016, while on vacation in Orlando, I was shot twice and held hostage for three hours during the Pulse Nightclub mass shooting. I never thought I’d walk again — let alone become a mother. But God had a way of creating a beautiful piece of art out of my broken pieces.

Today, I’m a wife, a mother, and a creator who uses her voice to remind others of what’s still possible — even after unimaginable pain. My latest release, “Pen Cry”, is a healing anthem created in collaboration with GRAMMY®-nominated poet Ty Scott King. Blending soul-stirring vocals and spoken word, the song offers a powerful message for survivors, truth-tellers, and anyone who’s been silenced too long. It’s more than a song — it’s a testimony.

I also host Healing Her Halo, a podcast and trauma-informed resource created for women navigating grief, healing, and rebirth. The stories, solo episodes, and expert conversations provide tangible tools and emotional support for survivors and dreamers alike.

Through my creative company, Pages of Poetry Inc., I’m building a home for survivors, creatives, and truth-tellers — a space that honors the power of storytelling and supports healing through art. This work isn’t just about books or music — it’s about legacy. About being heard. About leaving the silence behind.

My journey has taken me from a hospital bed to the GRAMMYs, from rejection letters to launching my own self-publishing program, AuthorHER™, designed to help women — especially Black women survivors — write and publish their stories when the world says they don’t fit the mold.

I don’t have all the answers, but I know this:

Your story matters. And so does mine.

Every lyric, every episode, every project is part of a greater vision that’s still unfolding — one led by faith, purpose, and divine alignment. If you’ve been through the fire and you’re still standing, you're already proof that the impossible is possible. And there’s more ahead than you think.

AuthorHER

I created AuthorHER™ for women like us — women with stories that won’t let go.

Whether you’ve lived through something unimaginable, uncovered a message worth sharing, or just know your voice matters, this program is here to help you bring your book to life.

AuthorHER™ is a trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent writing and self-publishing experience. I walk with you from idea to manuscript — offering guidance, structure, support, and sisterhood along the way.

If you’ve ever felt like your story doesn’t “fit the mold,” or you’ve struggled to make time for your dream while balancing everything else, this space was made with you in mind.

💡 Let me help you write the book that’s been living inside you.
